The term "HD" is often used to describe the quality of a video, but what does it mean?
HD (High Definition) is a term that refers to the resolution of your video. The higher the number of pixels in an image, the better it looks when you enlarge it. This is important if you want to show off your photos or videos on big screens or projectors.
Examples of HD quality for YouTube:
1080p: 1920 x 1080 pixels (2 megapixels)
4K Ultra HD: 3840 x 2160 pixels (8 megapixels)
Your video's resolution and bandwidth requirements depend on the following factors:
The video's resolution (the higher the resolution, the larger the file size).
The size of your video player on your page or blog (if you're embedding a YouTube video).
The speed of your internet connection.
